On November 19, 2025, at the Drive. Life exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City, Volvo officially unveiled the new version of its luxury SUV, the XC60, to Vietnamese customers. Beyond its refreshed design language, this model focuses on enhancing the digital experience and in-cabin comfort.
Since its debut in 2008, the 5-seat XC60 SUV has consistently been Volvo’s best-selling model globally, with over 2.7 million units delivered. This highly successful SUV now receives a host of upgrades.
Exterior highlights include a redesigned grille with a cross-woven pattern and a refined logo. The rear lights feature a darker aesthetic, achieved by replacing chrome elements with black accents. Additional enhancements include full LED lighting and 19-inch alloy wheels with a dual-spoke, diamond-cut design.

In addition to the four existing colors, the new XC60 introduces Forest Lake, a deep green hue with aquamarine shimmer, inspired by the lakes and forests of Northern Europe.
Inside, the cabin embodies a contemporary Scandinavian living room aesthetic, blending sophistication with warmth. The center console has been redesigned with a natural wood sliding cover, concealing a new 2+1 cupholder and repositioned wireless charger for enhanced convenience.

The Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity sound system has been upgraded with stainless steel speaker grilles, new natural wood trim, and a steering wheel wrapped in synthetic leather featuring the updated logo. The seats introduce Quilted Nordico upholstery, crafted from bio-based materials sourced from Swedish and Finnish forests. Nappa leather remains an option for added luxury.

Advanced soundproofing materials in the engine bay and partitions create a quieter cabin. A state-of-the-art air filtration system ensures occupant health and comfort.
A standout feature is the 11.2-inch vertical touchscreen, equipped with anti-glare technology. The Google Automotive Service (GAS) operating system, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit platform, delivers twice the processing speed and ten times the graphics performance of the previous generation.
The new Volvo Car UX interface, developed based on user feedback, offers intuitive navigation and timely information. Drivers can access maps, multimedia, and other functions directly from the home screen.
In Vietnam, the XC60 is available in two variants: Ultra and Plug-in Hybrid Ultra. The XC60 Ultra features a B5 2.0L turbocharged engine with mild hybrid technology, producing 249 hp.
The Plug-in Hybrid Ultra pairs a 2.0L gasoline engine with an electric motor, generating 462 hp. This setup enables a 0-100 km/h sprint in 4.8 seconds. Drivers can select from Pure (electric), Hybrid, Power, Off-road, and Constant AWD modes. With a full charge, the electric range reaches up to 89 km, ideal for daily commuting.

Two engine options are available for the Vietnamese market.
The new Volvo XC60 is priced at VND 2.299 billion for the Ultra variant and VND 2.75 billion for the Plug-in Hybrid Ultra. The Drive. Life exhibition will welcome visitors and Volvo enthusiasts from November 20, 2025, to December 14, 2025.
