Volvo XC60 2026 Launches in Vietnam: Starting at VND 2.29 Billion

The event offered guests and brand enthusiasts a unique multi-sensory experience, blending futuristic technology with classic Scandinavian design heritage.

Inspired by the theme “Drive. Life” (Drive Safely. Live Fully), the exhibition takes visitors on a visual and emotional journey, retelling Volvo’s history through immersive experiences. Attendees are guided through various spaces, celebrating life’s meaningful moments and fostering connections with oneself, nature, and authentic values. Each area reflects Volvo’s core values: a relaxed lifestyle, sustainability, renowned safety, and a human-centric philosophy.

The highlight of the event was the simultaneous launch of two models: the XC60, Volvo’s best-selling SUV globally, and the luxurious S90 Sedan, both featuring comprehensive upgrades. These models showcase a new design language, enhanced digital experiences, and improved in-cabin comfort, underscoring Volvo’s commitment to its enthusiasts.

Since its 2008 debut, the 5-seat Volvo XC60 has consistently been Volvo’s global best-seller, with over 2.7 million units delivered. Its sustained success reinforces its role in Volvo’s global electrification and business growth strategy. The latest XC60 enhancements focus on refined design, improved user experience, and driving pleasure.

The upgraded XC60’s exterior embodies elegant Scandinavian SUV aesthetics. The front grille features a new cross-woven pattern with a refined logo, exuding modernity and power. The rear lights are darker, replacing chrome elements with black accents. Full LED technology ensures powerful, energy-efficient lighting, enhancing visibility in all conditions.

New 19-inch dual-spoke alloy wheels, finished with diamond cuts and contrasting black accents, enhance both aerodynamics and style.

In addition to the existing colors, the new XC60 introduces Forest Lake, a deep green with aquamarine shimmer, inspired by Nordic forests and lakes. This unique shade balances tranquility and sophistication, offering personalized luxury and eco-conscious design.

Inside, the 5-seat cabin resembles a contemporary Scandinavian living room, crafted with new premium materials for a refined, cozy atmosphere.

The redesigned center console features a wooden sliding cover that discreetly hides a 2+1 cup holder. The wireless charger is repositioned for convenience. The Bowers & Wilkins High Fidelity sound system is elevated with stainless steel speaker grilles, delivering an authentic audio experience.

The XC60’s luxury is evident in every detail. New natural wood trim brings Nordic nature indoors. The handcrafted synthetic leather steering wheel features a modern logo. Seat options include Quilted Nordico, a bio-based synthetic leather from Swedish and Finnish forests, and Nappa leather with cooling for long journeys.

Advanced soundproofing materials in the engine and cabin reduce noise from the engine, road, and wind, ensuring a serene ride. The XC60 also features a state-of-the-art air purification system for passenger well-being.

The 11.2-inch vertical center screen features anti-glare technology, ideal for map viewing. Powered by Google Automotive Service (GAS) and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Cockpit, it offers double the processing speed and ten times the graphics performance of its predecessor, ensuring seamless interaction.

The new Volvo Car UX interface, developed from user feedback, provides intuitive access to navigation, multimedia, and favorite features directly from the home screen.

The new Volvo XC60 is available in two variants: XC60 Ultra and XC60 Plug-in Hybrid Ultra. The Hybrid Ultra combines a 2.0L engine with an electric motor, producing 462 hp and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. It offers driving modes like Pure Electric, Hybrid, Power, Off-road, and Constant AWD, with an 89 km electric range per charge.

The XC60 Ultra features a B5 2.0L engine with a 48V mild hybrid system, delivering 249 hp. This engine aligns with Volvo’s global emissions reduction commitment.
