The upgraded Mitsubishi Pajero Sport made its debut in the Thai market back in March 2024. Over a year later, this mid-size SUV introduces a new standard variant named GT, offering a more affordable price point.
Specifically, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GT starts at 1,139 million Baht (approximately $28,000 USD). It’s available in two colors: Graphite Grey and White Diamond. The white color is an optional upgrade priced at 15,000 Baht (around $370 USD). Besides the GT, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in Thailand offers three higher-tier variants: Prime, Elite 2WD, and Elite 4WD, priced between 1,389 and 1,689 million Baht (approximately $34,200 to $41,500 USD).
Powering the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GT is a 2.4L turbocharged diesel engine, shared with the new-generation Triton. This engine delivers a maximum output of 184 horsepower and achieves an average fuel efficiency of 15.2 km/l (approximately 6.57 l/100 km). It’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission featuring a Sport Mode.
Externally, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GT maintains a similar design to its higher-tier counterparts. It features a honeycomb grille, paired with sharp front and rear bumpers, creating a sporty yet robust appearance. Additionally, it comes with 18-inch silver alloy wheels with a simple 6-spoke design.

The interior of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GT is dominated by black tones, accented with silver and glossy black highlights. It features leather seats, an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat for long-distance comfort, and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity.

Safety features on the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport GT are basic, including dual front airbags, electronic parking brake, Auto Hold function, Cruise Control, and forward collision warning. Notably, it lacks advanced active safety systems (ADAS).

Ryoichi Inaba, General Manager of Mitsubishi Motors Thailand, stated that the Pajero Sport GT is a key strategic model. He emphasized Mitsubishi’s commitment to listening to customers and developing products that meet the needs of younger buyers, who value both “value” and “style” when choosing a vehicle that reflects their identity.
In Vietnam, the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has seen no sales in recent months. It’s likely that older inventory has been depleted at dealerships, awaiting the launch of the new version.
