A Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution from the Mekong Rally 2025 team has made a striking appearance on the streets of Ho Chi Minh City, captivating car enthusiasts.

The Mekong Rally 2025 convoy will embark on a cross-border journey spanning over 2,500 km. Starting from Ho Chi Minh City, the route passes through Cambodia and Laos before concluding in Hanoi. Notably, the majority of the vehicles are from Russia, with one entry hailing from Dubai.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution was specifically engineered to meet the stringent requirements of long-distance off-road races, most prominently the Dakar Rally. Its commercial variant, produced in limited numbers in the late 1990s, totaled only 2,693 units, exclusively sold in Japan.

Incorporating advanced racing technologies and structures, the Pajero Evolution delivers exceptional performance across all terrains. Its rarity and historical significance have made it a prized possession among collectors, symbolizing Mitsubishi’s golden era of high-performance SUVs.

Design-wise, the Mitsubishi Pajero Evolution embodies the rugged and aggressive aesthetics typical of off-road racing vehicles. Its compact body length, widened stance, large hood and side air intakes, flared fenders, and prominent side skirts, along with dual roof spoilers, make it instantly recognizable.

Under the hood, the Pajero Evolution is powered by a 3.5L V6 engine delivering 276 horsepower and 347 Nm of torque. Paired with front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials and a full-time four-wheel-drive system, it ensures maximum traction and superior off-road capabilities.
