Geely has ventured into China’s booming premium MPV market with the all-new Galaxy V900. Unveiled at the 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show in November, it’s positioned as a direct competitor to the Li Auto Mega. However, unlike its rival, the Galaxy V900 employs an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain instead of being fully electric.

Despite not yet being delivered to customers, Geely’s large MPV has already garnered attention by setting an unexpected Guinness World Record. During a recent promotional campaign, Geely tested how many people the Galaxy V900 could accommodate. To achieve this, they hired 42 petite female dancers.
Astonishingly, the Chinese MPV managed to fit all 42 dancers inside, earning Geely the world record for the highest number of passengers ever seated in an MPV.

This MPV was initially introduced in mid-2024 as the L380 under the LEVC (London EV Company) brand, owned by Geely. However, after underperforming in sales, the LEVC L380 was rebranded as the Galaxy V900 for the Chinese market, with a price reduction of 80,000 yuan (approximately $11,000).

As expected, the Galaxy V900 boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 5,360 mm in length, 1,998 mm in width, 1,940 mm in height, and a 3,200 mm wheelbase. Its interior offers configurations for either 6 or 8 passengers.

Beyond its spacious cabin, the Galaxy V900 stands out with premium features such as 24K gold-plated front and rear logos, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.4-inch infotainment screen, wireless phone charging, a vibrant Flyme Sound audio system, and a large refrigerator for storage.

The Geely Galaxy V900 is powered by a 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder gasoline engine, which acts solely as a generator. In China, buyers can choose between a 43.3 kWh or 50 kWh battery, offering pure electric ranges of 165 km and 202 km, respectively.
