A driver operating a luxury Mercedes-Benz in Romania miraculously survived a horrific accident that occurred on the evening of December 3, 2025. Part of the incident was captured by a security camera.
According to local media, the accident took place in the city of Oradea, Romania. Security camera footage shows the Mercedes-Benz approaching a roundabout at high speed without any signs of deceleration.
Following the collision, the luxury vehicle was launched into the air, soaring over two cars on the opposite side of the roundabout. The Mercedes-Benz reportedly landed on the roadside near a gas station. Fortunately, it did not strike any fuel pumps, which could have led to far more severe consequences.

Upon receiving the alert, local authorities swiftly arrived at the scene. Officials confirmed that the driver of the Mercedes-Benz had experienced a hypoglycemic episode due to diabetes while driving, causing him to lose consciousness. Emergency responders promptly extracted the man from the vehicle.
The driver was then rushed to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. After receiving treatment, he was discharged and allowed to return home. Images reveal that upon the car’s impact, all curtain airbags deployed, shielding the driver from potentially more severe head injuries.
Surprisingly, as reported by the *New York Post*, the 49-year-old driver was still fined $365 by police for the accident. He may also face a 90-day license suspension.
Nonetheless, the man is incredibly fortunate to have escaped with his life. The incident also underscores the Mercedes-Benz’s reputation as a vehicle that justifies its premium cost.
