The recent continuous listings of the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 have captured the attention of car enthusiasts in Vietnam. Upon investigation, it’s revealed that this particular vehicle features a highly sought-after license plate, 51L-009.99, which was auctioned in 2023 for a staggering 810 million VND—equivalent to the price of a brand-new Toyota Innova.
Among license plate enthusiasts, the number 51L-00999 is considered exceptionally desirable due to its three consecutive nines, symbolizing the “triple nine” or “everlasting longevity.”
When first imported to Vietnam in 2018, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 carried a price tag exceeding 8 billion VND. With limited units available, only one model featured the striking Miami Blue paintwork. This particular vehicle includes optional upgrades totaling nearly 1.9 billion VND.
In addition to the Miami Blue finish, this Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 showcases numerous black accents, including matte black dual-spoke alloy wheels, ceramic brakes priced at over 230 million VND, a GTS interior package for 189 million VND, and racing seats also valued at 189 million VND.
The upgraded Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991 edition features enhancements to its engine, delivering an additional 20 horsepower.





At its core, the Miami Blue Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter Boxer 6-cylinder engine. This powerhouse generates a maximum output of 450 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 550 Nm.
Equipped with a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch transmission, the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Miami Blue accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds, reaching a top speed of 310 km/h. Additionally, this sports car offers a manual transmission option.
When paired with the 7-speed PDK transmission, the engine in the Porsche 911 Carrera GTS 991.2 achieves a 0.4-second faster acceleration time compared to the manual variant, while delivering an impressive fuel efficiency of just 8.3 liters per 100 km.
