Over a year after its global debut, the Land Rover Defender OCTA has officially arrived in Vietnam through an authorized import channel from Slovakia.

Defender OCTA is positioned as the most premium and powerful variant in the Defender family. It targets customers seeking a high-performance off-road SUV capable of competing with industry leaders like the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Lexus GX, and Mercedes-Benz G-Class.

The Defender OCTA introduced in Vietnam features a striking Petra Copper finish. Its robust, angular design exudes a distinct off-road character.

This SUV measures 4,813 mm in length, 2,064 mm in width, and 1,995 mm in height, with a 3,023 mm wheelbase. Compared to the Defender 110 V8, the OCTA boasts significant increases in both length and width, enhancing its commanding and muscular presence.

The Defender OCTA is equipped with 22-inch Style 7026 multi-spoke wheels. For off-road enthusiasts, 20-inch Style 1086 wheels are available, offering enhanced durability and traction on challenging terrain.

Personalization sets the Defender OCTA apart from other Defender models. It features a black diamond-shaped OCTA logo on a meticulously crafted titanium disc with a sandblasted finish, positioned within the Signature Graphic window area. Additional exterior details, finished in dark tones, complement the exposed dual exhaust system, underscoring the vehicle’s high-performance and sporty identity.

The Defender OCTA 2026’s interior has been significantly upgraded for enhanced technology and user experience. Notable features include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.1-inch central touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, and sport-style pedals.

A standout feature is the Body and Soul system—first introduced in the Range Rover Sport SV—which allows occupants to experience music through both auditory and physical vibrations. This system includes six relaxation modes designed to reduce fatigue and stress during long journeys. Interior material options include Ebony Semi-Aniline leather or a combination of Kvadrat fabric and Burnt Sienna/Ebony Semi-Aniline leather.

Powering the Defender OCTA is a BMW-developed 4.4L V8 Twin Turbo MHEV engine, delivering up to 635 horsepower and 750 Nm of torque, which can increase to 800 Nm with Dynamic Launch Mode activated. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and full-time four-wheel drive, this 2,510 kg SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h.

The Defender OCTA features OCTA Mode—a specialized driving configuration for extreme off-road conditions. When combined with Off-Road Launch, Off-Road ABS, and TracDSC/DSC Off systems, the vehicle maintains speed and control even on the most demanding terrain, solidifying its position as a leader in the high-performance off-road SUV segment.
