VinFast Limo Green: 9,642 Units
The VinFast Limo Green emerged as the top performer in Vietnam’s MPV segment for November 2025, boasting an impressive 131.7% growth rate and selling 9,642 units. This electric vehicle not only dominated the MPV segment but also led the entire Vietnamese automotive market. Compared to the former MPV leader, the Mitsubishi Xpander, the VinFast Limo Green sold four times more units.

Launched in August 2025, the VinFast Limo Green is one of four electric models designed for ride-hailing services, alongside the Minio Green, Herio Green, and Nerio Green. Among these, the Limo Green stands out with its larger size, spacious interior, and higher price point, starting at 719 million VND.
Powered by an electric motor delivering 201 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, the 7-seater MPV offers a range of 450 km on a single charge, thanks to its LFP battery.
Mitsubishi Xpander: 2,234 Units
In contrast to the VinFast Limo Green’s success, the Mitsubishi Xpander experienced a 15.5% decline in sales, selling 2,234 units in November 2025. Despite this drop, it remains the top-selling internal combustion engine MPV in Vietnam.

Mitsubishi introduced an upgraded version of the Xpander in Vietnam in September 2025, maintaining its competitive price range of 560-698 million VND. The upgrade includes enhanced design and features, while the engine remains a 1.5L gasoline unit producing 105 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque, paired with a 4-speed automatic or 5-speed manual transmission.

The Toyota Veloz Cross sold 811 units in November 2025, a slight 0.7% decrease, securing its position as the third best-selling MPV in Vietnam.

The Toyota Veloz Cross is a popular choice in Vietnam’s MPV segment, thanks to its SUV-inspired design, affordable price range (638-660 million VND), comprehensive features, and strong brand reputation.
Under the hood, it features a 1.5L gasoline engine producing 105 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive.

The Toyota Innova Cross matched the Veloz Cross’s sales at 811 units but achieved a 7.5% growth rate in November 2025.

As the successor to the discontinued Innova, the Innova Cross offers a fresh design, modern features, and a hybrid powertrain for improved fuel efficiency.
It comes with two engine options: a 2.0L gasoline engine producing 172 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque, and a hybrid system combining a 1.5L gasoline engine with an electric motor, delivering a total of 261 horsepower.
In December 2025, Toyota introduced a new G Standard variant of the Innova Cross, priced at 750 million VND, expanding its price range from 750 million to 1.013 billion VND.
Honda BR-V: 429 Units
The Honda BR-V saw a 4.4% decline in sales, selling 429 units in November 2025, despite registration fee incentives.

Priced between 629 and 705 million VND, the Honda BR-V is praised for its design, driving experience, and advanced safety features, including ADAS as standard.
It is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC engine producing 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission and front-wheel drive.

The Kia Carens experienced a 10% growth in sales, selling 415 units in November 2025.

Now available in four variants with two engine options, the Kia Carens offers a 1.5L engine producing 113 horsepower and a 1.4L turbocharged engine delivering 138 horsepower. Prices range from 634 to 769 million VND.

The Kia Carnival sold 378 units in November 2025, a 30.3% increase, despite its premium price range of 1.299-1.849 billion VND.

The introduction of a second hybrid variant, the Premium, priced at 1.539 billion VND, has made the Kia Carnival Hybrid more accessible. Its modern design, spacious interior, and extensive features, along with promotional offers, contribute to its appeal.
The Kia Carnival offers two powertrain options: a 2.2L diesel engine producing 199 horsepower and a hybrid system with a 1.6L turbocharged engine and electric motor, delivering a combined 242 horsepower.

The Hyundai Stargazer maintained its position with 305 units sold in November 2025, a 7% increase.

The Suzuki XL7 saw a 20% decline in sales, selling 199 units in November 2025.

Hyundai Custin: 139 Units
The Hyundai Custin saw an 18.8% increase in sales, selling 139 units in November 2025.

It offers two engine options: a 2.0L Turbo GDi producing 236 horsepower and a 1.5L Turbo GDi delivering 170 horsepower, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

The Toyota Avanza Premio remained at the bottom of the MPV segment in November 2025, selling 85 units, a 20.5% decline.
