On December 25, 2025, four companies within Vingroup’s green ecosystem—VinEnergo, VinFast, V-Green, and Xanh SM—officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with IDICO Corporation to “greenify” industrial zones nationwide.

This cross-sector collaboration spans renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and green transportation, aiming to establish a sustainable ecosystem that reduces carbon emissions and drives green growth in Vietnam.

Under the agreement, the four Vingroup subsidiaries will partner with IDICO in two key areas: clean energy and green transportation.

In the energy sector, VinEnergo will supply renewable electricity to IDICO’s industrial zones through a Direct Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA), integrated with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Both parties will also collaborate on investing, developing, and operating retail electricity services within IDICO’s facilities. This aims to optimize energy costs, enhance distribution stability, and meet ESG criteria, progressively transforming IDICO’s industrial zones into modern, eco-friendly, carbon-neutral hubs.

For green transportation, VinFast, V-GREEN, and Xanh SM will jointly implement a roadmap with IDICO to transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles (EVs) and electric buses.

VinFast will offer exclusive incentives to IDICO and its industrial zone partners for transitioning to VinFast electric vehicles, applicable to both individual and corporate purchases.

Complementing VinFast’s efforts, Xanh SM will provide preferential solutions for IDICO and its partners adopting VinFast Green vehicles and electric buses (E-Bus) distributed and operated by Xanh SM.

Completing the green infrastructure and transportation ecosystem, V-Green commits to directly investing in and deploying VinFast electric charging stations and battery-swapping stations across IDICO’s industrial zones.

At the signing ceremony, Ms. Nguyễn Thị Như, Chairwoman of IDICO’s Board of Directors, emphasized that with over 25 years of experience in industrial infrastructure development, IDICO has pioneered sustainable, eco-friendly industrial ecosystems rooted in the philosophy of “Harmony” and people-centric values. Partnering with VinEnergo, VinFast, V-Green, and Xanh SM marks a pivotal step in IDICO’s sustainable development strategy. “Through this collaboration, IDICO aims to build modern industrial zones powered by clean energy and green infrastructure, meeting the rising expectations of domestic and international investors,” she shared.

Representing the four companies, Mr. Nguyễn Anh Khoa, CEO of VinEnergo, praised IDICO’s long-term vision and commitment to sustainability. He expressed confidence that integrating green energy and transportation solutions—from DPPA models and BESS to advanced energy technologies—will soon materialize in industrial zones, fostering sustainable economic value and contributing to Vietnam’s energy transition goals.
