Since Ferrari unveiled the 12Cilindri, many enthusiasts have noticed something amiss with its exhaust note.
Unfortunately, due to increasingly stringent noise and emission regulations, this flagship V12 is quieter than its predecessor. However, its sound can be enhanced by installing an appropriate performance exhaust system.
Novitec, a renowned tuner, has developed several options for the 12-cylinder engine, starting with a power-optimized sports exhaust system. Available in stainless steel, Inconel, or 999 fine gold-plated Inconel, this exhaust features adjustable valves for a more aggressive or subdued sound.
The sport version offers a wider sound range with its silencer system, while the race version delivers the rawest sound possible. For those who prefer the original manufacturer’s look, the German tuner from Stetten, Bavaria, also provides an exhaust system with OEM-style tips.
Novitec’s in-house exhaust for the Ferrari 12Cilindri is available in black-coated stainless steel or 999 fine gold-plated stainless steel.

Debuted in Miami Beach last May, the 12Cilindri was designed by Ferrari’s styling center under Flavio Manzoni’s direction. Available as a coupe or retractable hardtop, the 12Cilindri is based on the most powerful iteration of the 812 Superfast, delivering 819 hp and 678 Nm of torque. In comparison, the more exclusive 812 Competizione boasts 818 hp and 692 Nm.
Both models reach peak power at 9,250 rpm and can rev up to 9,500 rpm. As of December 2025, the 12Cilindri holds the title of the highest-revving Ferrari ever produced.
