At the Vietnam Mobility Show (VMS) 2025 in Hanoi, VinFast officially unveiled the commercial version of the Minio Green.
This is the smallest and most affordable electric vehicle in the Vietnamese automaker’s lineup, specifically designed for urban short-distance transportation and commercial services.
Measuring 3,090 mm in length, 1,496 mm in width, and 1,663 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,065 mm, the Minio Green boasts a compact design. It retains the 3-door, 4-seat configuration similar to the VF 3 but with a more minimalist aesthetic. The front fascia features classic round LED headlights paired with the signature chrome-plated swallow logo. A ground clearance of 165 mm ensures agility in narrow alleys and urban environments.
Minimalism extends from the exterior to the cabin. To optimize costs for businesses, VinFast equips the Minio Green with 13-inch steel wheels and Sailun tires. The braking system consists of front discs and rear drums, while side mirrors and door handles are manually operated.
Inside, the interior is basic, featuring a flat-bottom steering wheel with audio controls and an electronic gear selector behind it. Notably, there’s no central infotainment screen; instead, a 7-inch display behind the wheel shows operational metrics. Mechanical controls for the air conditioning and door locks are centrally located on the dashboard for driver convenience.
Between the front seats, you’ll find a manual handbrake, cup holders, and window controls. With a wheelbase just over 2,000 mm, the rear seating is adequate for short urban trips, accessible by folding the front seats.
Performance-wise, the Minio Green features a rear-mounted electric motor delivering 40 horsepower and 65 Nm of torque, with Eco and Normal driving modes. Despite its compact size, the upgraded 18.3 kWh battery pack offers impressive range—up to 210 km on a single charge (NEDC). The 24 kW fast-charging capability allows the battery to charge from 10% to 70% in just over 30 minutes, minimizing downtime for service drivers.
Priced at 269 million VND, the Minio Green directly competes with the Wuling Mini EV in the mini electric vehicle segment. While the VF 3 dominates the personal vehicle market, the Minio Green is poised to become the top choice for transportation businesses and service providers seeking cost-effective investment and operational efficiency.
