Every 23 Seconds, Chery Exports a Vehicle, Maintaining 23 Years of Industry Leadership

In 2025, Chery Group exported a total of 1,344,020 vehicles overseas, marking a 17.4% increase compared to the previous year. This achievement solidifies Chery’s position as China’s leading exporter of passenger vehicles for 23 consecutive years. On average, one Chery vehicle was exported every 23 seconds throughout the year.

Cumulatively, Chery Group has exported 5.85 million vehicles. For the first time this year, Chery’s monthly exports surpassed the 140,000-unit milestone.

Meanwhile, Chery Group’s total sales in 2025 reached 2,806,393 units. Below is a breakdown of sales by brand within the Chery Group.

The Chery brand achieved sales of 1,700,940 vehicles in 2025. Notably, the Chery Tiggo 8 retained its title as China’s best-selling mid-size gasoline SUV for nine consecutive years. The Chery Arrizo 8 maintained sales exceeding 10,000 units per month for 16 straight months, with cumulative sales surpassing 450,000 units just 38 months after its launch.

Exeed, Chery’s premium brand, sold 120,369 vehicles. As a flagship model in Exeed’s “global premium new energy vehicle” strategy, the Yaoguang C-DM is now available in over 19 countries. It also ranks among the top three in its segment in European markets such as Spain and Italy.

Jetour recorded sales of 622,590 vehicles last year. The Jetour X70 achieved cumulative sales of over 1 million units within seven years, while the Jetour Traveler surpassed 400,000 units globally.

The iCaur brand (known as iCar in China) sold 96,989 vehicles. Its models are exported under the iCaur or Jaecoo brands. For instance, the iCar 03 is marketed overseas as the Jaecoo 6, initially launched in Thailand, Malaysia, and Russia.

Luxeed, co-developed with Huawei, sold 90,493 vehicles. Following the launch of upgraded versions of the Luxeed R7 and S7, the brand achieved monthly deliveries exceeding 10,000 units for three consecutive months, from October to December 2025.

In Vietnam, Chery Group operates through its subsidiaries Omoda and Jaecoo, offering models such as the Omoda C5 and Jaecoo J7. In 2026, Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam will introduce 16 new products, including the C5, J5, O4, J6, C7, and J8. However, specific sales figures for these models remain undisclosed.
