Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) proudly announces its new Chairman, Mr. Tien Quoc Hao, and new Managing Director, Mr. Osamu Hirata, succeeding Mr. Nakano Keita, who served as Managing Director for three years at Toyota Vietnam.

Mr. Tien Quoc Hao and Mr. Osamu Hirata officially assumed their new roles at Toyota Vietnam as of January 2026.

About Mr. Tien Quoc Hao: Currently serving as Deputy Managing Director for the Asia Region and Deputy Managing Director of Sales Finance Business Unit at Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), Mr. Hao is also the Chairman of Toyota Asia (Singapore). Additionally, he holds the position of CEO at Toyota Financial Services Asia (TFS). From 2026, he will officially take on the role of Chairman of Toyota Motor Vietnam.

Mr. Hao joined Toyota Canada in 1999 and has since held numerous senior leadership positions in sales and marketing for both Toyota and Lexus across various regions, including North America, Japan, China, and Asia. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, and a Chartered Director certification from the DeGroote School of Business (Canada).

About Mr. Osamu Hirata: After graduating from Waseda University, Mr. Hirata joined Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) in 1995, spending nearly 9 years in the International Business Planning Division. In 2004, he was appointed as Deputy Manager before moving to Singapore to serve as Deputy of Product Planning at Toyota Asia Pacific from 2005 to 2008. He then took on key roles in global and North American strategic planning, including leading the North America Department and serving as Senior Executive Coordinator at Toyota USA. His leadership journey continued with positions as Vice President (from 2016), Project Leader, and Division Head in sales planning and operations.

Most recently, he served as Vice President of the Corporation, overseeing Toyota and Lexus sales operations in North America until 2023. In 2024, he was appointed as Head of Sales Operations and Planning at Toyota Motor Corporation.

With their extensive and diverse global experience, Toyota Vietnam is confident that Chairman Tien Quoc Hao and Managing Director Osamu Hirata will lead the company toward robust growth, establishing it as a comprehensive mobility solutions provider. Their leadership aims to deliver exceptional services and products, ensuring customer satisfaction while contributing to Vietnam’s sustainable development through job creation, investment, supplier development, and fiscal contributions.
