Porsche is gearing up for the electrification of its lineup, with the 718 serving as the first two-door model to go fully electric. This shift marks the end of the road for the gasoline-powered variant, making the current Porsche 718 models a rare find.

Seizing the opportunity, a businessman from Ho Chi Minh City has secured one of the last Porsche 718 Caymans available in Vietnam. Interestingly, the salesperson revealed that this is the entrepreneur’s third Porsche acquisition.

This Porsche 718 Cayman sports a striking Racing Yellow exterior complemented by sleek black decals. It features black dual-spoke wheels and a black interior. To commemorate this rare purchase, the owner also auctioned a license plate with the number sequence 718.

The Porsche Cayman originally boasts a 2.7-liter inline six-cylinder engine, delivering a maximum output of 275 horsepower.

Depending on whether it’s equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission or the PDK dual-clutch gearbox, the Porsche Cayman accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and 5.7 seconds, respectively.
