Verge Motorcycles has set a new benchmark in the global two-wheeled industry with the unveiling of the TS Pro electric motorcycle.

This groundbreaking model marks the world’s first commercial vehicle equipped with solid-state battery technology, poised to revolutionize electric mobility by eliminating traditional charging times and fire risks.

According to Verge, the TS Pro’s solid-state battery boasts an energy density of 400 Wh/kg, significantly surpassing conventional lithium-ion batteries. This innovation eradicates flammable liquid electrolytes, effectively eliminating fire hazards and short-circuit risks associated with lithium-ion technology. Remarkably, the battery charges to full capacity in just 5 minutes—comparable to refueling a combustion engine vehicle. Each minute of charging adds 60 km of range, while the battery’s lifespan reaches an unprecedented 100,000 charge cycles.

Beyond its energy storage advancements, the Verge TS Pro features a revolutionary DoNUT motor integrated directly into the rear wheel. By eliminating traditional drivetrain components, this design optimizes weight while delivering extraordinary performance. The motor generates a staggering 1,000 Nm of torque, propelling the bike from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and achieving a top speed of 200 km/h.

Customers can choose between two battery configurations tailored to their needs. The 20.2 kWh variant offers a 350 km range, while the premium 33.3 kWh option extends this to 600 km on a single charge. The TS Pro supports 200 kW fast charging via the CCS standard and is managed by Verge’s proprietary Starmatter software. This system enables over-the-air (OTA) updates and simplifies maintenance through its modular design.

Despite its cutting-edge technology, the Verge TS Pro remains practical, weighing 235 kg with a seat height of 780 mm, ensuring comfort for a wide range of riders. By combining superbike performance with the convenience of solid-state battery technology, the TS Pro redefines electric mobility, ushering in an era where charging wait times are no longer a concern.
