Fifteen days into 2026, and we’re thrilled to unveil a scorching update: the all-new Ferrari 849 Testarossa is set to make its debut in Vietnam this year. First unveiled in September 2025, this supercar is poised to captivate enthusiasts across the nation.
While it remains unclear whether any Vietnamese entrepreneurs have already placed orders for the Ferrari 849 Testarossa, the anticipation of its arrival is palpable. Having a display model in the country will undoubtedly satisfy the curiosity of potential buyers eager to witness this automotive masterpiece firsthand.
The Ferrari 849 Testarossa Eyes a 2026 Vietnam Debut
At the heart of the 849 Testarossa lies a twin-turbocharged 3.9-liter V8 engine, a reimagined version of the SF90’s powerhouse. This engineering marvel delivers a staggering 819 horsepower at peak RPM, marking a 49-horsepower leap over its predecessor.
Ferrari achieved this performance breakthrough without enlarging the cylinder capacity, thanks to an all-new turbocharging system, redesigned cylinder heads, and extensive use of lightweight materials. With a specific output of 205 horsepower per liter, it stands as the most potent V8 engine ever crafted by Ferrari.

Complementing the internal combustion engine is a trio of electric motors—two at the front axle and one at the rear—contributing an additional 217 horsepower. Together, the 849 Testarossa boasts a combined output of 1,036 horsepower, cementing its position as Ferrari’s flagship performance vehicle.
The Ferrari 849 Testarossa benefits from Ferrari’s latest ABS Evo braking system, seamlessly integrated with the brand-new FIVE (Ferrari Integrated Vehicle Estimator) technology.

FIVE functions as a real-time digital twin of the vehicle, precisely calculating parameters such as wheel slip and yaw angles. This data is fed back into the car’s control systems, resulting in more intuitive braking and traction control responses.
Suspension enhancements include lighter springs and recalibrated dampers, reducing body roll by 10% while improving road grip. Extensive use of titanium fasteners, Inconel exhaust components, and recycled aluminum alloys not only slashes weight but also boosts performance and reduces lifecycle emissions by up to 80% from engine casting processes.
