Recently, Honda officially unveiled its brand-new all-electric motorcycle, the UC3, in the Southeast Asian market. Priced at approximately $4,200 (over 110 million VND), the UC3 marks a significant step forward in urban mobility.

Designed as a “smart urban companion,” the UC3 delivers performance comparable to 110cc internal combustion engine bikes, positioning itself as an ideal replacement for traditional gasoline-powered motorcycles.

The standout feature of the Honda UC3 is its fixed LFP battery, a cutting-edge technology introduced by Honda for the first time. This battery allows the bike to travel up to 122 km on a single charge. Notably, the UC3 supports the CHAdeMO charging standard for two-wheelers, offering two charger options: 450 W and 1,200 W. The high-capacity charger can fully charge the battery from 0% in just 1.5 hours, minimizing downtime for riders.

In terms of performance, the Honda UC3 is equipped with an 8-horsepower electric motor developed and manufactured by Honda, enabling a top speed of 80 km/h. To enhance the riding experience, Honda offers three driving modes: Standard, Sport, and ECON, catering to various traffic conditions and personal preferences. Additionally, the bike features an electronic reverse mode, a highly convenient function for maneuvering in tight parking spaces.

The Honda UC3 boasts a modern design with sleek, rounded lines. The front is highlighted by a distinctive horizontal headlight, while the rear features elegantly curved LED lights. The high-set handlebars and spacious footrests ensure a comfortable riding posture, ideal for urban commuting.

Alongside the launch, Honda announced plans to expand its CHAdeMO charging network at dealerships and major shopping centers in Bangkok and surrounding areas.

The UC3 is expected to be assembled in Vietnam by 2026, though the exact distribution timeline remains undisclosed by Honda.
