Honda Vietnam Sweeps “Car of the Year 2026” with a Hat-Trick Win: Honda HR-V e:HEV RS Claims Two Prestigious Awards

The awards were determined by a panel of experienced automotive experts and public voting.

The “Car of the Year” program, organized by the Otofun community, is Vietnam’s premier professional platform for recognizing outstanding vehicles in the current market. The judging panel consists of top automotive reviewers and readers from across the country. In the “Car of the Year 2026” competition, both the Honda HR-V e:HEV RS and Honda City G outperformed strong contenders to secure their respective awards. According to the organizers, the Otofun community, while fully electric vehicles are gaining traction, hybrid cars remain a balanced choice for consumers. The Honda HR-V e:HEV RS emerged as a timely solution, offering a more fuel-efficient alternative to traditional gasoline vehicles without requiring significant changes in user habits. At the 2026 awards, the Hybrid Car of the Year category rightfully honored the Honda HR-V e:HEV RS.
