In November 2025, Mitsubishi officially unveiled the new Triton Mega Cab STREET in the Southeast Asian market.
Positioned as an intermediate variant between the Single Cab and Double Cab models, this vehicle offers maximum flexibility for users by combining ample cargo space with an additional rear passenger row behind the driver’s cabin.
The most striking feature of the Mitsubishi Triton Street is its exterior design. The vehicle boasts a bold trapezoidal grille inspired by the “Dynamic Shield” design language. Its rugged and sleek appearance is further enhanced by 17-inch matte black alloy wheels. Despite its “Street” moniker, Mitsubishi retained the standard suspension instead of lowering the chassis, ensuring versatile performance across various terrains.
Inside the cabin, the Triton Street features two fabric-upholstered front seats and two rear passenger seats. While prioritizing practicality, Mitsubishi equipped the vehicle with modern entertainment technology, including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Additional conveniences include Mirror Link connectivity, Bluetooth, and a 2-speaker audio system, catering to essential needs during long journeys.
Under the hood, this pickup truck is powered by a 2.4L turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 330 Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission. A standout feature in the steering system is the active brake-based limited-slip differential, enhancing stability during cornering or on slippery surfaces.
Safety is a key focus for Mitsubishi in the Street variant, featuring advanced technologies such as Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Electronic Stability Control (ASC), Traction Control Logic (TCL), and three standard airbags. Currently, the vehicle is available in Thailand, priced from 649,000 baht, equivalent to approximately 542.5 million VND.
