A-Segment Car Sales in December 2025 (units: cars)
Hyundai Grand i10: 381 Units
In December 2025, the Hyundai Grand i10 sold 381 units, a modest 5.8% increase from the previous month. This boosted its 2025 cumulative sales to 3,358 units, solidifying its position as the A-segment sales leader for both December and the entire year.

Hyundai Grand i10
The Hyundai Grand i10 is the top choice in the A-segment due to its diverse range of versions and styles. It’s the only model in the segment offering both hatchback and sedan variants. Additionally, its affordable price range of 360–455 million VND and robust features make it a standout option.
The Vietnamese market Grand i10 includes features like LED daytime running lights, 15-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, and side mirrors with integrated turn signals. It also boasts an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto support, a Vietnam-specific navigation system, a push-button start, and a smart key.
Powering the Grand i10 is a 1.2L Kappa MPI gasoline engine delivering 83 horsepower and 114 Nm of torque. It’s paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
Toyota Wigo: 232 Units
The Toyota Wigo secured the second spot in A-segment sales for December 2025 and the previous year, selling 232 units in December, a 11.4% decline. It was the only A-segment model to experience a sales drop in December 2025. Its 2025 cumulative sales reached 2,395 units.

Toyota Wigo
The Toyota Wigo is available in Vietnam with a single variant priced from 405 million VND, the highest starting price in the segment. However, its compact design, reputable brand, high resale value, and competitive features make it a strong contender.
Notable features include LED headlights, power-folding side mirrors, 14-inch alloy wheels, a 7-inch touchscreen, a 4-speaker audio system, blind-spot monitoring (BSM), and rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA).
The Wigo is powered by a 1.2L gasoline engine paired with a dual D-CVT automatic transmission, producing 87 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque. Unlike the Hyundai Grand i10, it does not offer a manual transmission option.
Kia Morning: 36 Units
The Kia Morning saw the highest sales growth in the A-segment for December 2025, surging 125% to 36 units. Despite this growth, its sales were the lowest in the segment and placed it among the top 10 poorest-selling cars in the market. Its 2025 cumulative sales totaled just 299 units.

Kia Morning
The upgraded Kia Morning was introduced in Vietnam in late 2025, offering two variants—AT and GT-Line—priced between 439 and 469 million VND, positioning it at the higher end of the A-segment.
The new model features a sportier design and premium features such as LED headlights and taillights with a distinctive “star map” graphic, two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels, an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, a 6-speaker audio system, and segment-exclusive automatic climate control. Unfortunately, it lacks cruise control, a feature available in some competitors.
The Kia Morning is powered by a 1.25L gasoline engine delivering 83 horsepower and 120 Nm of torque. Unlike previous models, it no longer offers a manual transmission, relying solely on an automatic gearbox.
