Toyota has officially unveiled the upgraded version of the Raize, featuring enhancements that embody the sporty essence of Gazoo Racing, alongside groundbreaking improvements in cabin comfort and convenience.
In this latest upgrade, Toyota has focused on optimizing the sporty attributes of the 1.0T turbocharged engine variants. The spotlight falls on the GR Sport model, which boasts a refined aerodynamic body kit, blending elegance with a bold, aggressive stance. These exterior enhancements not only modernize the urban SUV’s appearance but also ensure the stable performance that has become synonymous with the Raize since its debut.
Meanwhile, the 1.2L engine variants continue to serve as the economical choice, catering to customers who prioritize practical value within their budget.
Step inside, and the New Raize’s interior has been elevated to exude luxury and cohesion. The introduction of Gun Metallic gray accents on door handles and the center console, paired with a sleek black roof, creates a cabin that is both modern and upscale. Notably, all variants now feature wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The 1.2 G variant stands out with an upgraded 9-inch touchscreen, up from 8 inches, enhancing user interaction during travel.
In Indonesia, the Toyota Raize 2026 retains its familiar engine options: the 1.2 G and 1.0T, available in configurations ranging from standard to the top-tier GR Sport TSS. Pricing starts at 250 million Rupiah, approximately 387 million VND.
Toyota’s swift introduction of the new Raize in Southeast Asia is seen as a strategic move to reclaim market share. In Vietnam, the model faces stiff competition from rivals in terms of both sales and product innovation. Consequently, industry experts predict that this sport-enhanced upgrade will soon arrive in Vietnam, intensifying the already fierce competition in the A-segment SUV market.
