The first BMW M4 Competition mid-life upgrade (LCI) in Vietnam has officially found its owner in Da Nang.

Upon its debut, this sporty coupe instantly captured attention, not only for its stunning appearance but also for its distinctive license plate, 92B – 033.33. In the car enthusiast community, the quadruple 3 series is often referred to as the “wealth” number, symbolizing stability and good fortune, further enhancing the value and appeal of this already exceptional vehicle.

In terms of design, the BMW M4 Competition LCI retains its signature bold aesthetics while incorporating subtle refinements for improved recognition. The car boasts the iconic Sao Paulo Yellow paint, a signature color of the M series. To optimize weight and enhance its sporty character, the vehicle features numerous carbon fiber elements, including the roof, mirror caps, rear spoiler, and aerodynamic components.

It is equipped with 19-inch 826M wheels at the front and 20-inch at the rear, paired with a high-performance carbon-ceramic braking system, ensuring exceptional handling at high speeds. This upgraded version also introduces new LED headlights and laser taillights inspired by the M4 CSL, giving the car a more modern and sharp look when driving at night.

The interior of the M4 Competition LCI blends luxury and excitement with Merino leather in Fiona Red and Black. The most notable upgrade inside the cabin is the massive curved display, combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen running the latest iDrive 8.5 operating system. The steering wheel has also been redesigned with a flat bottom and a red center mark at the 12 o’clock position, mimicking professional racing car styles.

Under the hood, the car retains its 3.0L twin-turbocharged engine, delivering 503 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. This power is channeled through a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.

In the Vietnamese market, the BMW M4 Competition LCI starts at approximately 5.6 billion VND, comparable to the price of the full-size luxury sedan 7-Series. However, with an extensive list of personalization options and the auspicious license plate, the actual value of this Da Nang-based vehicle is undoubtedly much higher.
