2025 marks a significant milestone for Ford Vietnam as the brand celebrates 30 years in the market while achieving its highest sales performance since its establishment in the country.
Notably, Ford Vietnam was honored with a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister, as per Decision No. 40/QĐ-TTg dated January 8, 2026. This recognition highlights the company’s outstanding contributions to production, business, social welfare, and economic development in Hai Duong Province (now Hai Phong City) and nationwide.
Flagship Models Dominate Their Segments
Ford Vietnam achieved remarkable sales, breaking records with 50,450 units sold in 2025—a 20% increase from 2024. This represents an 8.6% market share, reflecting the brand’s consistent long-term strategy focused on products, services, and customer experience.
Three out of four flagship models led their respective segments. In the pickup truck category, the Ford Ranger sold 18,692 units, a 7% increase from 2024, capturing 68% of the segment. Its durability, robust design, and advanced driving features continue to make it a top choice for both individual and business customers.
In the mid-size SUV segment, the Ford Everest recorded 13,056 sales, a 20% rise, securing 73% market share. Its spacious interior, premium amenities, and smooth performance cater perfectly to families.
In the commercial vehicle segment, the Ford Transit sold 5,761 units, claiming 74% market share and a 15% increase. This underscores its reliability among logistics and tourism businesses.
The Ford Territory ranked second in its segment with 12,786 units sold, a 57% increase, and a 17% market share. To date, 30,000 Territory units have been chosen by Vietnamese customers, proving its appeal to young professionals and families.
Additionally, the launch of the Mustang Mach-E—a high-performance electric SUV—in late 2025 marked Ford’s next step in expanding its product lineup in Vietnam. The Mach-E offers a seamless blend of powerful yet smooth performance, exceptional driving dynamics, and iconic Mustang design.
Customer-Centric Innovation Drives Ownership Experience
Beyond sales success, Ford Vietnam continues to enhance customer experience through innovative services. In 2025, the Mobile Service program—offering 4-hour or free service—was expanded in Ho Chi Minh City, serving over 8,000 customers.
Global standards such as a 3-year/100,000 km warranty, 60-minute quick service, doorstep pickup and delivery, and technical support were vigorously implemented. The Ford app was further developed to connect customers with their vehicles, enabling vehicle management, service bookings, and usage tracking.
The nationwide network of 56 authorized dealers and branches was strengthened, with the gradual rollout of the Ford Signature 2.0 dealership standard. This initiative aims to seamlessly integrate online and offline experiences throughout the customer journey.
Over its 30-year journey in Vietnam, Ford has built trust not only through products and services but also through consistent community support programs.
Through the global initiative “Building Together,” Ford Vietnam, alongside employees, dealers, and car clubs, has supported communities affected by natural disasters in Ha Tinh, Hue, Binh Dinh, Cao Bang, and beyond. Efforts include donating essential supplies, improving schools and infrastructure, and providing first aid, traffic safety, and emergency response training. Many initiatives involved direct participation from Ford owners.
