PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) has unveiled the upgraded version of its compact SUV, the Raize, in the Indonesian market, following its initial launch in 2021. The enhancements are subtle, focusing primarily on aesthetics and features.
According to Hiroyuki Ueda, Marketing Director of PT TAM, the new Raize is designed to adapt to the increasingly competitive compact SUV segment. He emphasized that the 2026 Toyota Raize continues to offer a balance between fuel efficiency and lifestyle needs.
“Equipped with a turbocharged engine, the new Toyota Raize is engineered to deliver an engaging driving experience while maintaining fuel efficiency. We aim to meet customer demands and lifestyles at a reasonable price point,” stated Mr. Ueda.
In Indonesia, the 2026 Toyota Raize is available with two engine options. The first is the 1.0L 1KR-VET turbocharged three-cylinder engine, and the second is the familiar 1.2L WA-VE naturally aspirated three-cylinder engine.

Turbocharged variants such as the 1.0T G CVT, 1.0T GR Sport, and 1.0T GR Sport TSS boast a sportier and more robust design. Notably, the Raize GR Sport includes a new body kit and the advanced Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) active safety system.
The top-tier versions, 1.0T GR Sport and 1.0T GR Sport TSS, feature a new aerodynamic exterior package. The design exudes a bold, race-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of Gazoo Racing.
Meanwhile, the 1.2 G M/T and 1.2 G CVT models remain as affordable options for first-time car buyers.
Inside the cabin, all variants of the new Toyota Raize enhance the sporty vibe with Gun Metallic gray accents on door handles, armrests, the center console, and door trims. The pillars and roof are finished in black.

Additionally, the 2026 Toyota Raize features an upgraded central touchscreen, now supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In the 1.2 G variant, the screen size has increased from 8 inches to 9 inches.
Toyota also offers three official Toyota Customization Option (TCO) accessory packages for this compact SUV, each with a 1-year warranty. These packages are available at authorized dealerships.
The first package combines exterior and interior accessories such as a roof spoiler, gear shift knob, and sporty rain visors. The second focuses on enhancing the cabin’s appearance and comfort, including a roof spoiler, aroma diffuser, and scented inserts. The third package caters to lifestyle needs with accessories like an aroma diffuser and scented inserts.

Customers can also purchase individual accessories such as carbon-look side mirror covers, GR door step plates, GR door protectors, gunmetal gray side moldings, a dashcam, air filter, T-Intouch, and a luggage compartment net.
In Indonesia, the 2026 Toyota Raize is available in five variants, priced between 242,850,000 and 316,300,000 IDR (approximately 449 to 585 million VND).
