Bugatti Unveils the FKP Hommage: A Bespoke Hypercar Tribute to Ferdinand Piƫch

Bugatti has unveiled the FKP Hommage, the latest one-off hypercar in its ultra-exclusive personalization program. This masterpiece pays homage to Ferdinand Karl PiĆ«ch, the visionary behind the legendary Veyron project, marking two decades since the Veyron’s debut—a car that redefined hypercar standards.

Built on Bugatti’s iconic W16 chassis, the FKP Hommage is powered by the quad-turbo engine from the Chiron Super Sport. Enhanced with larger turbos, an advanced cooling system, and a reinforced gearbox, this powerhouse delivers a staggering 1,578 horsepower. It’s a testament to Bugatti’s commitment to blending engineering heritage with cutting-edge technology.

While exuding a retro aesthetic, the FKP Hommage incorporates modern elements, such as sleek slit-like headlights. The redesigned body features the Veyron’s signature curvaceous lines, complemented by 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. The exterior boasts a silver aluminum base coat with a translucent red finish, paired with exposed black carbon fiber accents—a nod to the Veyron’s iconic two-tone design.

Inside, Bugatti revives the classic round steering wheel inspired by the original Veyron. The center console, crafted from a single block of aluminum, showcases meticulous craftsmanship. A highlight is the 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch mounted on the dashboard, symbolizing the fusion of automotive and horological artistry.

The FKP Hommage is the second creation under Bugatti’s Programme Solitaire—the pinnacle of customization, surpassing even the Sur Mesure package. Limited to just two cars annually, this program ensures absolute exclusivity and tailored precision for each client.

Twenty years ago, the Veyron revolutionized the automotive world with its 1,001 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and top speed of 407 km/h. With the FKP Hommage, Bugatti not only celebrates a historic milestone but also reaffirms the Veyron’s enduring legacy in the modern hypercar era.
