Recently, the automotive market was abuzz with the unexpected listing of a one-of-a-kind Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 for sale.
This particular Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 belongs to the second generation (X166 model). It had been stored at Hai Phong Port since 2018 due to customs complications. After eight years of gathering dust, this SUV has finally completed all necessary paperwork and is now re-entering the market. The vehicle remains 100% new and has never been driven.
Back in 2018, the Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 was the flagship model, renowned for its power and luxury, with a listed price exceeding 12 billion VND. In Vietnam, only a handful of these vehicles exist due to their exclusivity and appeal to true automotive enthusiasts.
The stored Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 features an elegant black exterior paired with a sophisticated brown interior. It boasts full LED taillights, meticulously refined headlights, and a sleek grille, ensuring its design remains timeless compared to modern vehicles.
Inside, the cabin exudes the prestige of a vehicle once coveted by Vietnam’s elite. It features a central control panel and a sporty three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. The COMAND entertainment system includes an 8-inch standalone screen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, meeting today’s technological demands. The luxury is further enhanced by premium leather and wood finishes, preserved flawlessly after years in storage.
Powering the GLS 63 is a 5.5-liter V12 engine, delivering a maximum output of 585 horsepower and 760 Nm of peak torque. Paired with the AMG Speedshift Plus 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system, the vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.6 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
