Recently, a Rolls-Royce Dawn convertible was spotted cruising through Ho Chi Minh City. This is one of only two Rolls-Royce Dawn models in Vietnam, and its arrival was notably discreet.
Previously listed for over 12 billion VND, this Rolls-Royce Dawn features a blue exterior and white interior. However, after being purchased by a Saigon-based entrepreneur, it was transformed with a matte black body and a blue roof.

The Rolls-Royce Dawn is built on the Rolls-Royce Ghost platform, unlike its predecessor, which was based on the seventh-generation Rolls-Royce Phantom. The Dawn represents the final internal combustion engine convertible produced by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars.
The Wraith and Dawn are the last remaining Rolls-Royce models using the BMW platform, making their eventual phase-out highly anticipated.
Rolls-Royce claims that 80% of the Dawn’s body panels are new compared to the Wraith. Andreas Thurner designed the Dawn alongside the Rolls-Royce Ghost Series II and Wraith, balancing exclusivity with efficiency.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn’s front grille is recessed compared to the Wraith, with a front bumper extended by 53 mm and polished 20-inch wheels. These changes maintain the iconic Rolls-Royce design language.
As the convertible version of the Wraith, the Dawn measures 5,296 mm in length, 1,947 mm in width, and 1,502 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,112 mm. It weighs 2,560 kg.
Unlike the first model with a fashionable Hermes orange interior, this second Rolls-Royce Dawn in Vietnam features a white cabin with black accents and wood trim.
The Dawn’s 2+2 configuration ensures comfort for rear passengers, with additional amenities like air conditioning, armrests, and storage compartments. The front seats are more luxurious, featuring a center console with a retractable roof control button.
Rolls-Royce claims the Dawn is the world’s quietest convertible. Its soft-top roof takes approximately 20 seconds to open or close, operable at speeds up to 50 km/h.
Powering the Dawn is a 6.6-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering 563 horsepower at 5,250 rpm and 820 Nm of torque at 1,500 rpm.
Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the Dawn accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.
