Honda Racing Vietnam is set to launch the “Young Racing Talent 2026” selection program, aimed at discovering, training, and developing the next generation of world-class Vietnamese racers.

The program has already attracted nearly 200 applications from children aged 6 to 12 nationwide, showcasing the enthusiasm of young racers and the growing trust of parents in Honda Racing Vietnam’s structured, safe, and sustainable racing development pathway.

This initiative marks the next step in Honda Racing Vietnam’s long-term investment strategy to identify, train, and support young racing talents from the ground up. Rather than focusing on short-term results, the “Young Racing Talent 2026” program emphasizes discipline, sportsmanship, and speed control—core elements for nurturing future professional racers.

Direct Selection with Expert Evaluation from Japan

From the nearly 200 eligible applications, Honda Racing Vietnam will conduct a direct selection round on January 31 and February 1, 2026, at Dai Nam Racetrack. The selection will feature evaluations by a team of Japanese experts and coaches, alongside experienced members of Honda Racing Vietnam.

Candidates will be assessed comprehensively based on the following criteria:

Vehicle control skills and speed perception

Physical fitness, reflexes, and competitive discipline

Learning spirit, focus, and training attitude

The entire selection process ensures the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and fairness for all participating children.

Training Classification – Long-Term Development Focus

Following the selection, Honda Racing Vietnam will categorize candidates into two training groups:

Group 1 – Intensive International Training
Honda Racing Vietnam will select the top 2 most promising young racers for an intensive training program. These candidates will:

Train at prestigious racing academies in Thailand and Japan

Follow an international standard curriculum under the guidance of global Honda experts

Gradually prepare for regional and international competitions in the future

Group 2 – Foundation & Proximity Training
The remaining candidates will continue to:

Participate in monthly training sessions with Honda Racing Vietnam coaches

Develop racing skills, physical fitness, and competitive mindset systematically

Build a strong foundation for future Honda Racing Vietnam selection rounds

Steadfast Support for Young Passion

The journey to discover young racing talents is not just about finding exceptional drivers but also about nurturing passion in a safe, structured, and long-term manner. Through the “Young Racing Talent 2026” program, Honda Racing Vietnam reaffirms its commitment to seriously investing in Vietnam’s next generation of racers, where dreams of speed are cultivated through discipline, knowledge, and sustainable sportsmanship.
