Vietnamese Consumers Purchase Nearly 5,000 Toyota Vehicles in January 2026

Compared to the same period in 2025, Toyota Vietnam’s sales have surged dramatically, achieving an impressive 45% growth.

On February 1, 2026, Toyota Motor Vietnam announced its sales figures for January 2026. During the first month of the new year, Toyota Vietnam sold 4,852 vehicles to domestic consumers, a 41.7% decrease compared to the previous month. However, when compared to the same period in 2025, the company’s sales grew by an impressive 45%.

Of the Toyota vehicles sold to domestic customers in January 2026, 2,202 were domestically assembled, while 2,650 were imported. Notably, Toyota’s hybrid vehicle sales reached 217 units.

In the luxury segment, Lexus was the choice of 207 customers in January 2026, a 46.9% decline. To date, Lexus has delivered a total of 16,271 vehicles to Vietnamese customers since its official introduction to the market. The combined sales of both Toyota and Lexus brands in January reached 5,059 units.

In January 2026, the Yaris Cross remained Toyota Vietnam’s best-selling model, with 1,150 units sold, a 17.4% decrease. The compact sedan Toyota Vios followed closely, with 1,118 units sold, representing a 43.3% decline.

The Toyota Veloz Cross, Innova Cross, and Corolla Cross achieved sales of 861, 546, and 125 units, respectively. Among these, the Toyota Corolla Cross experienced the most significant drop, with a 76.8% decrease. The decline rates for the Toyota Veloz Cross and Innova Cross were 34.2% and 54.9%, respectively.

In February 2026, Toyota Vietnam, Toyota Financial Services Vietnam, and their nationwide network of authorized dealers will continue to offer promotional programs for customers. Notably, the Toyota Vios and Yaris Cross will receive 50% support for registration fees. The incentive value for the Toyota Vios ranges from VND 23-27 million, while the Yaris Cross offers VND 33-37 million.

The Toyota Veloz Cross and Avanza Premio duo will enjoy a 100% registration fee waiver, allowing customers to save VND 56-60 million on the Avanza Premio and VND 64-66 million on the Veloz Cross.

The newly launched Toyota Hilux will also feature a special offer. The first 500 customers will receive a 1-year gold insurance package for the Standard version, while the Pro and Trailhunter versions come with a complimentary travel equipment package.

Additionally, in February 2026, customers trading in their old vehicles (regardless of make) and purchasing a new Toyota HEV (Yaris Cross, Corolla Cross, or Innova Cross) at T-SURE authorized dealers can choose between two promotional packages:

  • A 1-year Toyota gold insurance package; or
  • Free maintenance for 2 years or 30,000 km, whichever comes first.

For customers financing their vehicle purchases, TFSVN will offer a preferential interest rate of 3.49-3.99%/year for the first 6 months. Meanwhile, the interest rate for the 0 down payment program is fixed at 7.99%/year for 2 years.
