The Smart Key system is only activated when the key holder is within the allowed range, with a rotational button that can perform multiple functions such as electric lock on/off, start/stop, opening/locking the bike’s lock, opening the seat, and opening the fuel cap. Similarly to previous showcased models, the fuel cap on the Yamaha Latte is placed symmetrically with the main lock mechanism, making it easy to open with the main key beside it.
The front floor space for the rider is relatively comfortable, and the rear leg rest can be easily extended and retracted, neatly. The Yamaha Latte is equipped with a spacious 37-liter storage compartment with a flat bottom, which can hold two half-face helmets and various personal belongings. The seat of the bike stands out with two-tone colors of black and purple, with the word “Latte” highlighted on a black background, and the seat height is 790 mm.
The rear LED stop lamp and turn signals are halogen with a new design, with the top of the handlebar lower than the rear seat, creating an ideal balance when carrying an additional passenger.
The Yamaha Latte is powered by a 125cc Blue Core engine, a single-cylinder 4-stroke, 2-valve air-cooled engine, generating a power of 8.3 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a torque of 9.7 Nm at 5,000 rpm, along with an electronic fuel injection system. However, the new Latte still does not have ABS.
