On October 20, 2023, VinFast officially started accepting deposits and organizing test drives for the VF 6 – a high-end, modern mid-range electric car and the 5th strategic product in the brand’s pure electric mobility ecosystem.
In particular, from October 20 to October 30, 2023, customers who place a deposit to buy the VF 6 will enjoy a discount of up to 20 million VND and one year of free public charging for pioneers.
Customers can place a deposit for the VF 6 at all VinFast showrooms, distributors nationwide or through the website: https://reserve.vinfastauto.com/. The VF 6 exhibition and test drive program will start on October 20 in Hanoi and October 21 in Ho Chi Minh City. The deposit amount is 30 million VND/car and will not be refunded if the customer does not purchase the car.
The VF 6 is the 5th strategic electric car model in VinFast’s pure electric mobility system in Vietnam, with two versions: Base and Plus. The Base version is priced at 675 million VND (excluding battery) and 765 million VND (including battery). The Plus version is priced at 765 million VND (excluding battery) and 855 million VND (including battery).
The price will be even better, up to 20 million VND/car, if customers place a deposit during the golden period for “Pioneers” (from October 20 to October 30, 2023), and complete the purchase procedures in their own name within 3 months from the date VinFast starts delivering the VF 6. In case of changing the name when purchasing the car, customers will not be eligible for this offer.
Especially, if customers rent the battery, they only need to pay 1.8 million VND/month if they drive less than 3,000 km/month, or 3 million VND/month if they drive more than 3,000 km/month (unlimited km). Therefore, if customers rent the battery, the energy cost per km will be significantly cheaper than the energy cost of gasoline cars.
In addition to the early deposit discount offered by VinFast, VF 6 buyers will also enjoy a 100% exemption of the registration fee for electric cars, making the on-road price equivalent to the selling price of the car. It is expected that VF 6 will start being delivered to customers by the end of 2023.
Although it is a mid-range car, the VF 6 possesses a stylish, elegant, and modern design. With the design philosophy of “The Duality In Nature” penned by Torino Design – a leading world-renowned studio, the VF 6 exudes a strong European style with a range of colors, including 5 exterior colors and 2 interior colors. The modern look of the VF 6 is highlighted by the distinctive LED light strip, the “dual opposing” chrome trim running along the body of the car, and the largest 19-inch alloy wheels in both B and C segments.
The VF 6 has dimensions of 4,238 x 1,820 x 1,594 (mm) in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of up to 2,730 mm, plus the advantages of an electric car, which provides optimal interior space equivalent to models in the C segment, especially ideal for modern families.
Both versions of the VF 6 are equipped with a 59.6 kWh LFP battery with a corresponding operating range of 399 km for the Base version and 381 km for the Plus version (according to WLTP standard) after a full charge. The car uses an electric motor with a maximum power of 100 kW and 150 kW, corresponding to a maximum torque of 135 Nm and 310 Nm, respectively, providing a lively and responsive driving experience to meet the needs of all customers and save costs. Estimated energy cost per km of VF 6 is only about 480 VND, which is 3-5 times lower than gasoline cars in the B and C segments.
With the characteristics of electric cars, VinFast VF 6 outperforms competitors in both the B and C segments in terms of equipment, safety technology, and smart features. According to the plan, in early 2024, the VF 6 Plus version will receive remote software updates for free, adding outstanding features for advanced driving assistance systems such as traffic jam assist, highway driving assist, lane keeping assist and centering, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, emergency braking front/rear, etc.
In addition, VF 6 also owns state-of-the-art technologies and smart features such as VinFast virtual assistant with multi-dialect Vietnamese voice interaction, vehicle control, Q&A, and comedy storytelling.
Similar to other VinFast electric car models, VF 6 will benefit from a very good after-sales policy, including a 7-year or 160,000 km official warranty (whichever comes first), an 8-year unlimited km battery warranty, 24/7 roadside assistance, mobile repair service, 24/7 mobile charging service, etc. VinFast also has special support policies for problems arising from manufacturing errors that inconvenience users, or commitment to repurchase used electric cars after 5 years, providing optimal benefits and peace of mind for customers.
