In the Thai market, the Honda Accord 2024 will be available in 3 versions: E, EL, and RS with estimated prices ranging from about 1.53 million Baht (1.012 billion VND) to 1.8 million Baht (1.2 billion VND).
Providing power for the Honda Accord 2024 is the e:HEV powertrain, a combination of a 2.0L petrol engine and dual electric motors for a total output of 207 PS.
In terms of dimensions, the 11th generation Accord measures 4,962 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, 1,449 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,828 mm.
Despite receiving mixed opinions about its sleek appearance, the new Accord aims for a more sophisticated style by using glossy black exterior details and a sleek spoiler on the trunk for the RS trim.
17-inch wheels come as standard, while the higher-end version will receive 18-inch wheels.
Moving inside, the car is equipped with leather seats that are power-adjustable, with the driver’s seat having the added feature of position memory. The Thai version bears a resemblance to the Japanese version with its circular knob cluster on the dashboard that allows users to control air conditioning, heating, and also acts as a clock display.
Prominent features of the car include rear window blinds, auto-dimming rearview mirrors, wireless phone charging, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. The 12.3-inch infotainment screen supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, there is a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, Honda Connect system with software updates over the air, and USB Type-C charging ports at the front and back.
The mid-range EL version adds a black panoramic roof, 7-color interior ambient lighting, an air purifier, and an 11.5-inch HUD.
The top-of-the-line RS version features illuminated door handles and glossy black exterior accents. Inside, the car has a panoramic sunroof, red-stitched seats, and active noise cancellation (ANC) system.
In terms of safety equipment, in addition to the 8 airbags and common passive safety systems, the Honda Sensing package is standard on the Accord. This package includes automatic headlights, lane departure prevention, lane keeping assist, collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control including low-speed follow, and forward collision warning.
The official price for the Honda Accord 2024 in the Thai market will be announced on October 17, 2023.
