Established in June 2020, the Redline Club is a gathering place for car racing enthusiasts, and races are organized with the goal of building a team of Vietnamese racers.
The Redline Auto Gymkhana Cup Round 3 had over 40 racers registered to participate, however, the organizers only accepted the first 32 racers to register. This ensures that the race took place according to the predetermined schedule.

Something unusual in motorsport races is rain. The loss of road grip can completely change the race, as well as bring unexpected results, especially in the Pro category, where the majority of cars are rear-wheel drive.
Although widened to lower the center of gravity (wide body), reducing the body roll at high speed, with a dry race track, these cars completely lost speed on the wet track due to the lack of friction to control sideways sliding.
Most of these cars are equipped with semi-slick racing tires, which have fewer tread grooves and are designed to be driven when the tires are hot. And the rain took away the advantage of these tires, resulting in the cars completely losing speed in the curves.

Interesting in the Lady of Speed category – a category for female racers. Racer Trần Hải Yến with the Mitsubishi Attrage took first place with a close result compared to racer Phạm Thanh Dung. It’s worth noting that although they race on the same track as the male racers, the female racers achieve similar results and excel in their ability to memorize the track, while many male racers took the wrong path.
Trương Nam Thành, Head of the Organizing Committee, commented: “In racing, there shouldn’t be a distinction between male and female. Compared to men, women possess more attributes to become a good racer: concentration, attention to detail, memorization ability, precise execution… And when women are interested in racing, they will progress much faster than men.”

Anh Vinh, the Pro-class champion, who used a rusty car to race, shared: “The story of who is faster, which car is better, the road conditions and weather, will never end… And we believe that these factors affect the results in our races. However, racing is a very interesting sport, and if you want to discuss these factors accurately, it’s best to try to become a racer!”
