Superb – one of Skoda’s best-selling models, has just been officially upgraded to the 4th generation. The car comes in two body styles, sedan and wagon, along with a variety of engine options including petrol, diesel, mild hybrid, and plug-in hybrid.

Developed on Volkswagen’s MQB platform, the new Skoda Superb has a length of 4,912 mm in the sedan version and 4,902 mm in the wagon version, an increase of 43 mm compared to its predecessor. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 2,841 mm. The car has also been improved in terms of aerodynamics, reducing the drag coefficient to 0.24 Cd.

The exterior of the Skoda Superb 2024 looks quite familiar, but all the details have been refined and sharper. The taillights are equipped with LED Matrix technology. The large grille, combined with the prominent front bumper accented by a chrome strip.

The interior of the Skoda Superb 2024 bears many similarities to the new generation Kodiaq. Skoda’s designers have made efforts to improve both the technology and quality inside this model.

The car is equipped with a 13-inch touchscreen, combined with a 10-inch Virtual Cockpit digital dashboard and a Head-Up Display.

Another highlight is the new “Smart Dial” rotary button system with a built-in 1.25-inch screen. The external rotary knobs control the temperature and seat heating/ventilation system, while the center knob can adjust volume, fan speed, air direction, intelligent A/C mode, driving mode, and even map zooming.

In line with sustainability trends, the Skoda Superb’s interior space is wrapped in 100% recycled polyester. In addition, the brand still offers the option of leather seats. The leather tanning process is environmentally friendly by using coffee grounds or waste water from olive processing. The decorative options are divided into Loft, Lounge, or ecoSuite themes, with Black or Cognac interior colors.

Furthermore, the car is also equipped with wireless charging, electric parking brake, and a panoramic sunroof.

The spacious storage space is also worth mentioning when it comes to the Skoda Superb 2024. Specifically, the sedan version has a luggage capacity of 645 liters, while the wagon version has a corresponding figure of 690 liters. 28 smart storage spaces called Simply Clever also provide customers with additional storage solutions.

The new Superb has quite a few engine options, from gasoline to diesel and even plug-in hybrid. Specifically, the plug-in hybrid engine is only available for the wagon version. The specific specifications of the engines are as follows:

Skoda has announced that the Superb 2024 will be available in Europe starting from the first quarter of next year. The price of the car has not been announced yet. This model will also be sold in Vietnam in the near future. It is unknown whether the car intended for the Vietnamese market will be the old or new generation. However, the car will be imported directly from Europe, so the expected price will not be cheap.
