Kawasaki announced that the Ninja 7 Hybrid will be the first large-displacement motorcycle in the world to use a hybrid engine that combines gasoline and electric power and is produced commercially in large quantities. The Ninja 7 Hybrid has a silver and black color scheme, with the lower fairing in Kawasaki’s signature green.

The Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid has a design similar to the Ninja 650 but with some details refined to fit the hybrid powertrain. The Ninja 7 Hybrid is equipped with a TFT digital display that can connect to smartphones.

The Kawasaki Ninja 7 Hybrid is equipped with a 451cc twin-cylinder gasoline engine combined with an electric motor, producing a total output of 69 horsepower. This power output is equivalent to a large-displacement motorcycle in the over/under 700cc segment but with fuel consumption similar to a 250cc model.

According to Kawasaki, the acceleration capability of the Ninja 7 Hybrid is not inferior to a 1,000cc motorcycle when the e-Boost feature is activated. The bike has 3 riding modes which are Sport-Hybrid, Eco-Hybrid, and EV2.

The engine on this hybrid motorcycle is integrated with Start/Stop technology. The gearbox allows for selecting automatic AT or manual MT. The Ninja 7 Hybrid is planned to be released in early 2024. The official price of the bike will be disclosed later.
