After a successful Race 1, the Honda Racing Vietnam racers entered Race 2 with confidence and determination. Especially Cao Viet Nam, the racer who had high hopes of breaking into the Top 5 in Race 2 of Stage 4 after his impressive performance in Race 1. In Race 1, Cao Viet Nam raced exceptionally well, competing at the top for 10 laps and ultimately finishing in 6th place.
Entering Race 2, Cao Viet Nam maintained his confidence and determination to improve his ranking even further. However, unfortunately, at the final corner of lap 1, racer Cao Viet Nam had an unfortunate crash due to the oil spill from the UB150 category race that was not cleaned up properly. This early crash made it difficult for the number 65 racer to replicate his top 10 performance from Race 1. Nevertheless, the “crazy guy” still gave his all and finished in 18th place out of 27 in the AP250 category.
If Race 2 was a disappointment for Cao Viet Nam, then it highlighted the impressive performance of racer Nguyen Duc Thanh (number 193) as he unexpectedly made it into the Top 15 and earned his first points. This is an impressive achievement considering Thanh started from the 26th position. This first points score will be a motivation for Thanh to strive even harder in the upcoming races in the AP250 category.
In the UB150 category, there were no surprises as the Honda Racing Vietnam racers, Nguyen Anh Tuan #178 and Nguyen Huu Tri #111, were unable to make a breakthrough and only finished at the bottom positions. However, the efforts of the Vietnamese racers cannot be denied.
Hope to see luck smiling upon the Honda Racing Vietnam racers in the upcoming races, allowing them to earn even more points.
