Winner 150 category features intense competition

During the past 2 months, VMRC 2020 has been in a state of “cold on the outside, hot on the inside”. Apart from the official race being postponed, behind-the-scenes activities have been extremely lively. Racers have been continuously training intensively to maintain their racecraft and the technical team has been “comfortably” experimenting with new improvements, promising to bring higher-performance, more stable motorcycles. With the goal set from the beginning of the postponed season being “not wasting time,” Honda Vietnam and the organizers of VMRC 2020 quickly adjusted the activities of the competition with caution, preparing the “scripts” for all possible developments due to the pandemic.

The clubs in the UB130cc category have certainly used the past 2 months to fine-tune their Honda Wave motorcycles, and the Honda Racing Vietnam team has also used the past 2 months to ensure that technical issues will occur less frequently in the upcoming races.

In reality, the past 2 months were filled with activities despite the official races being postponed. Racers continued to train at high intensity to maintain their skills, and the technical team “comfortably” experimented with new improvements, promising to bring higher-performance, more stable motorcycles. With the goal set from the beginning of the postponed season being “not wasting time,” Honda Vietnam and the organizers of VMRC 2020 quickly adjusted the activities of the competition with caution, preparing the “scripts” for all possible developments due to the pandemic.

The past 2 months also helped “contain” the racers’ desire and the audience’s “longing,” similar to a “fragrant” fuel store waiting for a spark to ignite. Stage 3 of VMRC 2020 promises to be the spark that ignites the “fuel store” of all athletes and spectators.

In terms of professional significance, this stage will mark the end of the first half of the season, providing a solid foundation for the remaining half in the race for the championship of VMRC 2020. According to statistics from the VMRC 2019 season, racers outside the top 5 after the first half of the season were left “out of the race” in the remaining races of the season. With the current situation in the standings, stage 3 will not be a simple “restart” as it will determine the “survival” of the remaining half of the season. The pressure that racers face compared to the first 2 stages will increase tremendously.
