Yamaha Grande 2022 price increase compared to the old version |
The new generation Yamaha Grande has just launched in Vietnam. Compared to the old generation, Grande 2022 has changed a lot in terms of design and equipment. The price of Grande 2022 has also increased compared to the old version.
Yamaha Grande 2022 is distributed with 3 versions. The starting price of the bike is 45.9 million VND for the Standard version, and the Premium and Limited versions are priced at 50.3 million and 51 million VND respectively.
Compared to the old version, the price of Grande has increased from 400,000 VND to 1.2 million VND, depending on the version. The new price makes Yamaha Grande more expensive than its direct competitor Honda Lead (39.06-42.3 million VND).

Grande 2022 has changed the design of the dashboard, the rear light cluster, and added a position light strip similar to the Janus model… The lighting system uses LED technology, which is the first popular Yamaha model with turn signal lights that do not use halogen bulbs.
This scooter model is also equipped with a charging port and a front storage compartment similar to the Thai market. However, the scooter has an exposed charging port, which is inconvenient to use when it rains.

The engine of the new Grande is still the Blue Core 125 cc type, generating a power of 8.2 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 10.4 Nm at 5,000 rpm, which is lower than the direct competitor Honda Lead, with a power of 11 horsepower and a torque of 11.7 Nm.
On the other hand, the fuel consumption of Grande 2022 is 1.66 liters/100 km, better than the old version by 0.03 liters/100 km, and significantly more fuel-efficient compared to the 2.16 liters/100 km consumption of Honda Lead.
