Skyworth Skyhome has a modern and luxurious exterior design, while the interior of the car is compared to the business class cabin of an airplane. Not only that, this electric sedan model also has impressive performance with a total power of up to 617 horsepower.
Skywell – the giant of the Chinese electronics industry recently unveiled a brand new all-electric sedan called Skyhome. However, Skyworth Skyhome is currently only a concept car. According to the Chinese media, this concept model is similar to the commercial version that will be put into production by 90% in 2024. The price of this electric sedan is about 220,000 – 250,000 CNY (~745 – 847 million VND).
Currently, there are many electric car models from Chinese brands on the market, which challenges manufacturers to create their own unique features for their products, and Skywell is no exception.
Accordingly, the Skyworth Skyhome has a round and smooth minimalist design, unlike modern models on the current market dominated by sharp edges and straight lines. The front of the car is mainly made up of soft flowing curves. Skyworth Skyhome is equipped with LED headlights with a daytime running LED strip placed horizontally on the front of the car. Below is the air vent decorated with strips of lights reminiscent of a fish.
Especially, instead of being equipped with rearview mirrors like regular models on the market, Skyworth Skyhome owns technical cameras, bringing a more fashionable look to the sedan.
Next is the reverse-opening doors like on a Rolls-Royce car. The door handles are hidden, panoramic sunroof and full LED taillights with a continuous design are other highlights on the outside. Skyworth Skyhome uses a 5-spoke alloy wheel set with aerodynamic design.
The most exquisite details of the Skyworth Skyhome seem to be concentrated in the cabin. Accordingly, when entering the car, users will be greeted by a large curved screen that occupies the entire dashboard. This screen is a combination of a digital instrument cluster, a center touch screen, and an entertainment screen for the front passengers of the car.
The U-shaped steering wheel of Skyworth Skyhome has a futuristic design and the ambient lighting system creates a cozy atmosphere for the interior. The central control cluster is divided into two separate parts instead of being connected like traditional designs. From the images, it can be seen that the interior materials of this electric sedan are very diverse.
Skyworth Skyhome has a 2-row, 4-seat configuration. The rear seats of the car can recline deeply and have a foot massage function for passengers to relax. In the middle of these 2 seats is a central armrest and there is also a place to put flowers.
Furthermore, the rear passengers are also provided with a large foldable screen that comes down from the ceiling. The rear seats are also served by 2 smaller screens on the backrest of the front seats along with a folding table. The refrigerator is integrated into the center armrest of the front seats.
With all these facilities, Skyworth Skyhome deserves the title of “ground jet”.
Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not announced detailed specifications of the Skyworth Skyhome. It is only known that the car has both 2-wheel drive and 4-wheel drive versions. In which, the highest-end version uses 2 electric motors with a total power of 617 horsepower, allowing the car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. In addition, the car is also equipped with an air suspension system and a rear-wheel steering system.
