The new versions of Vespa Primavera and Sprint S come with new design and technology, as well as two electric versions.
Piaggio Group has just introduced the updated versions of Vespa Primavera and Sprint S models at the EICMA 2023 exhibition in Milan. According to Rideapart, Vespa Primavera and Sprint S 2024 is a big step forward as traditionally with the two main models, Vespa only released new colors.
The design of Vespa Primavera and Sprint S 2024 is smaller and lighter than the previous version. Both models are made entirely of steel and share many parts, the main difference between the two models lies in the design and color options. In the new version, Vespa Primavera and Sprint S both have new rims, handles, and front mud flaps.
Vespa Primavera 2024 is distributed with 3 versions: Primavera, Primavera Tech, and Elettrica. On this model, the bike has chrome accents on some details and is equipped with a 5-spoke cast wheel, bringing a luxurious and elegant look. Vespa Primavera 2024 has a round LED headlight and a 5-inch TFT screen for the 150 cc version.
Meanwhile, the Vespa Sprint S 2024 model has 2 versions: Sprint S and Sprint S Elettrica. The bike is equipped with a 6-spoke wheel with a unique hexagonal LED headlight. In addition, the front and rear mudguards on Vespa Sprint S 2024 also have added orange-black accents, bringing a sportier feel to the bike.
In Europe, Vespa Primavera and Sprint S 2024 have 3 engine options: 50cc, 125cc, and 150cc. All are 3-valve SOHC engines, air-cooled and comply with Euro 5+ emission regulations.
Notably, these two models also have additional engine options, which are 2 electric versions using technology from Vespa Elettrica. Currently, Vespa has not fully disclosed the technical specifications of the electric powertrain.
