According to Toyota, the Hilux Champ is a pickup truck that is affordable for economically limited customers. The special feature of this pickup truck is that it allows users to customize it according to their preferences from the original frame of the car.

According to the plan, Toyota Hilux Champ will officially be launched in the Southeast Asian market, specifically Thailand on November 27th. The starting price for this pickup truck is speculated to be from 400,000 Baht (~274 million VND).

In reality, Toyota Hilux Champ is the production version of the IMV 0 concept model, which was first introduced in December 2022 at the 60th anniversary of Toyota Thailand. IMV 0 stands for International Multi-purpose Vehicle – Innovative international multi-purpose vehicle.

Toyota’s goal in developing the Hilux Champ is to create a small, versatile pickup truck. Therefore, the size of the Champ’s body is smaller than the Hilux REVO but more flexible, like a LEGO toy pickup truck.

The chassis of the Toyota Hilux Champ allows the rear position of the cabin to be customized to serve specific purposes such as transporting goods, selling, or acting as a mobile home,… Toyota said that the conversion of the rear body takes less than an hour.
