The McLaren 720S has been given a new look with the N-LARGO bodykit, featuring a new blue-white color scheme with orange accents. The wheels have also been painted to match the exterior color.
It can be said that the McLaren 720S is becoming a new trend in Vietnam. So far, more than 10 720S models, including the Coupe and Spider versions, have been imported into the country. Therefore, many 720S owners in Vietnam often seek to upgrade the appearance of their cars, typically by adding bodykits or applying decals to create a distinctive look.
Recently, a McLaren 720S appeared in front of a well-known luxury car showroom in District 5, Ho Chi Minh City, with a completely new look. The car has been repainted at least 4 times. The original color of the car was Lantana Purple, a bespoke paintjob by McLaren Special Operation (MSO) that cost $9,400 (equivalent to over 210 million VND) in addition to the purchase price.
For this appearance, the car has been wrapped with a blue-white decal and orange accents to create a striking visual effect. In addition to the changes in the exterior paint, the “720S” emblem on the body of the car has been removed and replaced with an inlaid “720S” decal.
The multi-spoke Vossen wheels have also been painted white to match the exterior color, with yellow wheel bolts and brake calipers adding a touch of highlight. It is known that these modifications were carried out by WrapStyle Vietnam.
As of now, this is the only McLaren 720S with the Novitec N-Largo widebody kit in Vietnam. The N-Largo conversion by Novitec is designed specifically for the McLaren 720S and features numerous design changes, such as the front bumper.
In particular, the headlight housing has been extended downwards and deeply sculpted into the front end, similar to the McLaren Senna. The hood has two air vents with a central dividing bar, and additional air outlets have been added behind the wheel arches. Novitec has crafted and finished the components of the conversion package in forged carbon, instead of the usual carbon weave.
In addition, the 720S has a new active rear wing with two separate tiers and a new rear diffuser, all made of new forged carbon fiber. As a result, the McLaren 720S Novitec N-Largo is wider by 30mm at the front wheel arches and 65mm at the rear wheel arches. This significantly improves the aerodynamics of the supercar.
In addition to the N-Largo conversion, this McLaren 720S is also equipped with a Fi Exhaust performance exhaust system with yellow tips, increasing the maximum power output of the car by 8%.
Regarding performance, the car is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine producing 710 horsepower and 770Nm of torque, paired with a dual-clutch SSG transmission. According to the manufacturer’s announcement, the McLaren 720S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds before reaching a top speed of 341 km/h.
