In addition to the new paint colors, Mansory’s customization also includes a body kit with a carbon fiber front spoiler, air intake, and rear wing.
A few days ago, Mansory caught the attention of car enthusiasts when they unveiled the P9LM EVO 900 – an extremely impressive car based on the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Not stopping there, the Germany-based tuning company continues to make a splash by introducing a new customization based on the Mercedes-Benz S 580.
If the P9LM EVO 900 is a “real crazy creation” focused on improving the performance and flexibility of the car, this Mercedes-Benz S 580 customization is a much more simple upgrade. It’s so simple that without the company’s badge, one might easily mistake it as a new model launched by AMG.
The highlight of this customization is the eye-catching Kalahari Gold exterior color provided by Mercedes-Benz’s Manufaktur department. The front of the car features a sportier design thanks to a body kit consisting of a carbon fiber air intake cover and a new air splitter with aerodynamic air channels. In the rear, the German tuning company equips the S 580 with a rear wing and a carbon fiber diffuser, new exhaust pipes, and the Mansory logo. Additionally, the car also receives new 21-inch wheels from Mansory.
The tuning company does not provide information about the interior of the Mercedes-Benz S 580. However, some published images show that the car has illuminated door sills and Mansory-logo floor mats. It also features white leather seats, creating a luxurious feeling.
In its original state, the Mercedes-Benz S 580 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged V8 4.0L engine with EQ Boost technology, generating a maximum power of 496 horsepower and a torque of 700 Nm. With this engine, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds before reaching a top speed of 250 km/h.
