The new Q3 will play the role of the most affordable SUV in Audi’s product range.

In September of this year, the third generation Audi Q3 was spotted testing on some roads in Germany. Compared to its predecessor, the new Q3 undergoes significant changes in terms of exterior design, especially in the front of the car. Based on the gathered information, recently, Motor1 has released predicted design images of this small luxury SUV.

The new generation Audi Q3 still features the characteristic hexagonal-shaped Singleframe grille, but it has been downsized, accompanied by a U-shaped pattern on the radiator grille. The daytime running light clusters are placed quite high, close to the position of the hood, while the rectangular headlights are located at the two corners of the front bumper.

At the rear, the taillight clusters of the 2025 Audi Q3 will also be revised. Motor1 believes that the four-ring brand will apply the taillight design of the Q4 e-tron to this SUV model, but remove the LED strip that extends across the tailgate to create differentiation.

Audi has confirmed that the 2025 Q3 will be the last generation of vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. This SUV model is developed based on the MQB Evo platform of Volkswagen, similar to the new VW Tiguan. The engine of the Audi Q3 can also refer to the models within the same parent company. Currently, the Volkswagen Tiguan offers two plug-in hybrid powertrain options with a total output of 201 horsepower or 268 horsepower. In addition, the car also comes with mild-hybrid 1.5L and 2.0L petrol engine versions.

Recently, the German automaker announced the discontinuation of the Q2, so the Q3 will play the role of the most affordable SUV in Audi’s lineup in the future. According to some sources, the new generation Q3 will be launched in early 2024 and will be produced at Audi’s plant in Gyor, Hungary.
