The Ducati Desert-X Rally 2024 features upgraded suspension and wheels. The Desert-X Rally is equipped with KYB 48mm diameter closed cartridge forks with adjustable compression and rebound damping and a travel of 250mm. The wheels are also designed for off-road, with Takasago Excel rims.
The spoked wheels are sized 21 x 2.15 inches at the front and 18 x 4 inches at the rear for the Desert-X Rally, with the axles machined from solid. While the front wheel is the same size as the standard Desert-X, the rear wheel of the Desert-X Rally is half an inch narrower than the 18 x 4.5-inch size on the Desert-X.
The upgrades for the Desert-X Rally include solid alloy fork clamps and adjustable Ohlins steering damper with a ground clearance of 280mm compared to 250mm on the Desert-X. The Desert-X Rally also has adjustable brake pedal and gear lever made of solid alloy.
The engine of the Ducati Desert-X Rally 2024 is similar to the standard Desert-X model, using the Testastretta 11 937cc engine with a power output of 110 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
The Desert-X Rally 2024 comes with a dedicated off-road electronic package with 6 customizable riding modes including Sport, Touring, Urban, Wet, Enduro, Rally, and 4 performance modes with 3 selectable power levels. The highlight of the Desert-X Rally 2024 is the “Iron Giant” graphics, while the two-way quickshifter is a standard feature. The manufacturer has not yet revealed the price of the Ducati Desert-X Rally 2024.
