Huawei released the Aito M7 2023 to the public on September 12, 2023, and after more than two and a half months of launch, this SUV model has received over 100,000 orders.
Aito M7 2023 is distributed with 5 versions, including 3 5-seater versions and 2 6-seater versions, with prices ranging from 249,800 – 329,800 NDT (852 million – 1.124 billion VND).
Currently, the 5-seater version is receiving the largest amount of orders, accounting for 80% of total volume, while the rest comes from the 6-seater version.
Aito M7 is positioned as a large 5-seater SUV with dimensions of 5,020 x 1,945 x 1,760 (mm), a wheelbase of 2,820 mm.
Compared to the old version, the M7 2023 doesn’t have many changes, the overall design style is still preserved, except for the smart driving version that will add lidar on the roof of the car as a prominent symbol.
In terms of interior, the Aito M7 2023 SUV continues to maintain a minimalist style but still has a modern feel. The car is equipped with a 10.25-inch curved full LCD instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch floating display. This central control screen has replaced most of the physical buttons and integrates the HarmonyOS smart cockpit system.
As an automobile model of the leading technology group in China, it’s not surprising that a series of advanced technologies are equipped on the AITO M7. This car has 27 sensors for the advanced driving system ADS 2.0 developed by Huawei. In addition, Huawei also equips the GAEB system which allows emergency automatic braking when detecting fallen trees or rocks.
Providing power for the car in the Chinese market are two drivetrain options: the rear-wheel-drive version (RWD) uses a single electric motor with a power output of 268 horsepower and a torque of 360 Nm. Meanwhile, the all-wheel-drive version (AWD) uses 2 electric motors with a combined power output of 443 horsepower and a torque of 660 Nm.
Both versions are paired with a turbocharged 1.5L petrol engine with a power output of 125 horsepower, serving as a charger for the battery.
The car comes with a pre-installed 40kWh battery pack for an electric range of 210 – 240 km depending on the version. When combined with the reverse charging petrol engine, the maximum operating range of the AITO M7 can reach 1,300 km.
