Another powertrain option is the hybrid variant with a power output of 139 horsepower and a torque of 265 Nm, including the Smartstream 1.6L engine assisted by an electric motor.
For those interested in performance, the Elantra N Line can be chosen with the turbocharged Smartstream 1.6L engine producing 201 horsepower and a peak torque of 265 Nm, combined with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The top-of-the-line Elantra N uses the turbocharged Theta 2.0L engine that generates a maximum power of 276 horsepower and a peak torque of 392 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission or an 8-speed DCT transmission.
