Lexus has released teaser images of the new generation GX. The Japanese carmaker confirms that the GX 2024 will be introduced on June 8th.
The current generation of Lexus GX was introduced in 2009, underwent two major upgrades, and many minor facelift versions. Introducing the 3rd generation GX at this time is reasonable to replace the current GX model, which is over 10 years old.
The images of the new GX show a boxy design, with some details resembling the Range Rover. The main headlights are sleeker and more refined than the previous generation, featuring horizontal DRL positioning lights. Notably, the hood is raised significantly on both sides.
The rear of the car features a slim, continuous strip of LED taillights. From the rear, a part of the car’s side is visible, with square-shaped mudguards.
Although there are no official technical specifications yet, it is likely that the new Lexus GX will use the shortened TNGA-F platform. This platform is currently used in the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Sequoia, and Lexus LX 600.
In the Vietnamese market, the Lexus GX is currently distributed by the official dealer with only the GX 460 model, priced at 5.97 billion VND.
