The Vietnam Truck Festival 2023 took place in Nam Hoi An on July 15th and 16th, with over 1,000 members from truck clubs nationwide.

The biggest Truck Festival of the year is back
From the very beginning, the Truck Festival has become a spiritual food and a fruitful playground for the community of truck users nationwide, with the coordination of 3 major truck clubs including Pickup Vietnam Club (PVC), Pickup and Friends (PNF), and Pickup Danang Club (PDC).
The event takes place annually with different themes, aiming to connect, exchange, and meet to build a strong and sustainable community.
After a 2-year hiatus due to the difficulties caused by the pandemic and the economic downturn, the biggest Truck Festival of the year for the truck community in the three main regions officially returns with the theme “Grow up together – Strong together” – joining hands to build a unified, civilized, and friendly truck community, gradually spreading the passion for trucks to the Vietnamese car community.
With the largest scale ever, the festival includes diverse exchange and competition activities such as off-road driving, steamboat racing, and motocross racing.
This year, the festival introduces a new program on safe driving, sharing off-road driving skills (DSFL), and first aid instructions “Safety for rescuers and safety for victims”.
Through the festival, participants not only satisfy their passion for trucks but also gain full knowledge and necessary skills to conquer off-road terrains and basic first aid skills to ensure safe and effective driving.
Towards sustainable development of the truck community, the truck community is a place where owners share the same passion for trucks and adventurous journeys. Up to now, truck clubs nationwide have not only been successful in building a community with common interests but also maintained a spirit of unity, civility, and respect for discipline among members.
However, the community does not operate with the sole purpose of sharing knowledge about products, safe driving experience, or inspiring routes. Above all, they are pioneers in supporting the vulnerable groups.
The truck community has implemented many social activities such as cooking porridge to serve hospitals in mountainous areas, donating water tanks to renovate floating schools for Vietnamese children living in the Cambodia Sea, building public spaces to improve the lives of workers in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Da Nang, transforming Ford Ranger trucks into mobile relief vehicles to transport essential supplies to people during the pandemic.
The implementation of these activities is always accompanied by Ford Vietnam, as the spirit of the truck community is similar to Ford’s “Live the Ranger Life” philosophy, which is inspired by the truck community and later developed to honor the lifestyle and hidden strength within each owner.
Currently, more than 80% of the members of the truck community nationwide are using Ranger and Ranger Raptor. In order to develop a sustainable truck community, Ford Vietnam commits to continue coordinating with the truck community to develop meaningful and effective social initiatives.
Along with strengthening the connection of the truck community, Ford Vietnam will continue to make use of existing strengths to maintain a competitive advantage for core products and create a position for new products.
At the same time, Ford Vietnam actively improves service quality, continuously improves processes, and integrates technology applications to provide Ford owners with a complete customer experience from the process of researching, purchasing, owning, and using.
